Most young men think they are choosing a wife. They are not.
They are choosing the first teacher of their children.
The atmosphere of their future home.
The voice that will shape the emotional health of the next generation.
The culture carrier of their family.
This is why beauty alone is dangerous.
Curves cannot raise children.
Charm cannot sustain a family.
Flattery cannot build a legacy.
A man’s greatest earthly investment is not his car, his house, or even his business. It is the woman he entrusts with his future generations.Many men have destroyed decades of purpose because they chose a woman based on attraction instead of assignment.
The question is not merely: “Is she beautiful?”
The question is:
“Who is she becoming?”
Can she nurture?
Can she build?
Can she carry vision?
Can she multiply purpose?
Can she steward destiny?
A woman who does not appreciate how far a man has come will rarely be committed to helping him get where God is taking him. Marriage is too important for guesswork.
This is one reason I tell young men:
Never settle because of pressure.
Never marry because everyone else is marrying.
Never choose a wife because she is available.
Stay single until you find alignment.
The wrong marriage can cost a man decades.
The right marriage can multiply generations.
Parents must understand this truth and begin preparing daughters not merely for weddings but for the enormous responsibility of becoming wives, mothers, builders, and destiny partners.
A wedding lasts a day. Marriage shapes generations.
